Happy Halloween! Want this theme?

Happy Halloween! Want this theme?

Hello, world!

I haven’t really posted much here…ever. I guess I’ll start today!

I’m somewhat pressed for time right now so I’ll start by talking about two fairly specific things — both of which pertain to my theme PhotoSheet.

First. Ever since PhotoSheet was released about a month ago, I’ve been making changes to it. You may have not noticed, but I’ve updated it eight times since I published it! These updates fix a lot of bugs and add some new features. In general, the updates have addressed these things*:

  1. Photosets — improved after Tumblr release new coding blocks for customizing photosets.
  2. Scrollbars — I’m a beginner at this, so it took me a few tries to get this right. Now fully working on Safari and Chrome.
  3. Post notes are now supported!
  4. …and everything else, including getting animated GIFs to animate and supporting the Opera browser.

* I have a comprehensive list of changes — feel free to ask me for it.

But! I’ve noticed that quite a few PhotoSheet users are using Custom HTML. If you use Custom HTML, you won’t get these wonderful updates. You can disable Custom HTML by reinstalling my theme. After you reinstall, please don’t use Custom HTML again, as I have some more nice updates coming up!

(If you have no idea what Custom HTML is, let me know.)

And… second. A few people have been asking me about the default font PhotoSheet uses.

  1. No, I didn’t make it.
  2. Yes, you can use it!
  3. Here it is: Shadows Into Light
  4. And I found it via Google Webfonts: google.com/webfonts

Enjoy!

I bet they did that just for kicks.
